Fantastical Fantasy Creatures is a mini encyclopedia that details many known or unknown mythical entities from around the world. This ambitious project totals to 80 pages with page spreads that focus on each creature, including a drawn illustration and in-depth descriptions about their origin, cultural context and impact, highlighted quotes, and inspired creature variations.

My choice for this topic comes from a deep love of folktales and learning everything related to them. Its a fascinating, rich world that I wanted to properly reflect through this project, down to the typeface choices and inspiration from illuminated medieval manuscripts. My final vision for designing the book is to add it to my bookshelf, even thinking back to what my childhood self would have read.
