Fantastical Fantasy Creatures is a mini encyclopedia that details many known or unknown mythical entities from around the world. This ambitious project totals to 80 pages with page spreads that focus on each creature, including a drawn illustration and in-depth descriptions about their origin, cultural context, highlighted quotes, and creature variations.

My choice for this passion project comes from a deep love of folktales, as well as book design and cover illustrations. Its a fascinating, rich world that I wanted to properly reflect through this project, down to the typeface choices and inspiration from illuminated medieval manuscripts. My final vision for this book is to add it to my bookshelf, reflecting back on what my childhood self would have wanted to read.
