As a national leader of the arts, the Art Department is one of ten within the School of Education and the University of Wisconsin-Madison at large. Their mission prioritizes students through a balance of creative field preparation, cultivation and strengthening of their creative expression, and development of an artistic community. The department is physically located at the Art Office where students have access to advisors and its front desk for meetings, infographics and office-related services.

As a front desk student assistant, I work closely with the department advisors and other assistants to support their mission while also meeting their objectives. Together, we create visually-engaging and informative graphics for printed posters, our biweekly online newsletter, and group emails for students and organizations.
